Vergepoint Sensor

Inside-the-Network Visibility Without Inside-the-Building Visits

Vergepoint sensors give you inside-the-network visibility without inside-the-building visits. By monitoring from the client's edge, you see what users experience — not just what devices report. Deploy once, resolve faster without the truck roll. Tickets, diagnostics, and workflows move forward automatically.

Key Benefits

Deploy once at the edge — observe networks from where problems actually occur
Every alert tied to real customers, services, and locations — no guessing
AI-driven triage filters alerts, correlates events, and highlights what needs attention
Customer 360° view of services and assets
Secure end-to-end encryption
Inside & outside network monitoring agents
Intelligent ticket and workflow automation
Deploy in under 10 minutes per site
Pairs with Netverge Monitoring for AI-powered alerting and auto-remediation

Deploy Once at the Edge

Drop Vergepoint sensors onsite to observe networks from the inside, where problems actually occur. Traditional monitoring tools check whether devices are online — but that tells you nothing about the actual user experience. Vergepoint sits on your network and continuously tests what users actually experience: WiFi signal quality, internet speed, application response time, and VoIP call quality.

Customer 360° View — Services, Assets, and Impact Together

Every alert is tied to real customers, services, and locations — no guessing, no swivel-chairing between tools. See the complete picture of how network performance impacts each client's business. When someone says "my video calls keep freezing," you have the data to identify whether the problem is WiFi interference, ISP congestion, or application server latency — in seconds, not hours.

AI-Driven Triage — Eliminate Alert Noise

Let AI separate signal from noise. AI-driven triage filters alerts, correlates events across your entire monitoring stack, and highlights what truly needs attention. Stop wasting engineering hours chasing false positives and duplicated alerts. Focus your team on the issues that actually impact clients.

WiFi Experience Index

Vergepoint maps every access point in your environment, measuring RSSI (signal strength), noise floor, retry rates, channel utilization, and client roaming events. You see exactly which areas have weak coverage, which APs are overloaded, and which clients are having connectivity issues — all from a passive sensor that doesn't disrupt your network.

WAN and ISP Scorecard

Continuously measure your internet circuit performance against what you're paying for. Vergepoint tests latency, packet loss, jitter, throughput capacity, and bufferbloat against multiple destinations. Use this data to hold ISPs accountable to their SLAs, identify degrading circuits before they fail, and compare performance across providers and locations.

Resolve Faster — Without the Truck Roll

Tickets, diagnostics, and workflows move forward automatically, keeping engineers remote and efficient. Intelligent ticket and workflow automation ensures the right information reaches the right engineer at the right time — with full context of the issue, affected services, and recommended actions.

Better Together: Vergepoint + Netverge Monitoring

Pair Vergepoint's sensor data with Netverge Monitoring's AI platform for comprehensive network operations. Netverge correlates Vergepoint's experience data with infrastructure metrics, providing automated root-cause analysis. When Vergepoint detects a WiFi quality drop, Netverge identifies the overloaded AP and can automatically adjust channel assignments or alert your team.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from regular network monitoring?

Traditional monitoring tells you a switch is online. Vergepoint tells you what users actually experience — WiFi signal quality, internet speed, application response times, and call quality. It monitors from the inside out, measuring the same things your users experience.

Does Vergepoint require any network changes?

No. Vergepoint sensors connect to your network via a standard Ethernet port. They passively observe WiFi conditions and actively test WAN and application performance without disrupting existing traffic or requiring configuration changes to your infrastructure.

How many sensors do I need?

Typically one sensor per physical location or network segment. For large campuses or buildings with multiple floors, additional sensors provide more granular WiFi coverage data. We recommend placement during a consultation based on your environment.

Is the data encrypted?

Yes. Vergepoint uses secure end-to-end encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Your network data never passes through unencrypted channels.
