Who We Are
California Telecom is a managed network services provider for mid-market and enterprise businesses with complex, multi-location network environments. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Chino, California, we have grown from a regional connectivity provider into a full managed network infrastructure partner, recognized on the MSP 501 Next Generation list for innovation in AI-powered network management.
We specialize exclusively in network infrastructure: SD-WAN, firewalls, WiFi, LAN/WAN, circuit procurement, network monitoring, and voice/UCaaS. We do not try to be everything to everyone. We go deep on networking and do it better than anyone our size.
Our engineering team carries certifications that most providers our size cannot match: a triple-CCIE engineer (three Cisco CCIE certifications held by a single engineer, which is rare at any company), a Fortinet NSE7 and FCSS-certified engineer, multiple Fortinet FCP and FCA engineers, and team members certified across Versa Networks, Netsapiens, AWS, Azure, and CompTIA Network+. When you call us, you are not reaching a generic help desk. You are reaching engineers who have built and troubleshot complex multi-site networks at scale.
We also built Netverge, an AI-powered network intelligence platform with Vergepoint onsite hardware. Our customers get real-time observability across all their locations through Netverge.

We are not locked into any single carrier. We evaluate and procure circuits from AT&T, Spectrum, Frontier, Cox, Cogent, Crown Castle, and dozens of others based on what is best for each location. You get the best price and performance, not whatever one carrier happens to sell.

We partner with Fortinet and Versa Networks for SD-WAN and security. We built our own monitoring platform, Netverge. We are investing in AI-powered services for our customers. We do not just resell other people's products. We engineer network solutions.

Jim Gurol
CEO & Founder
Founded California Telecom in 2008 with a focus on delivering enterprise-grade network engineering with the responsiveness of a local partner. Under Jim's leadership, California Telecom has expanded from regional connectivity into nationwide managed network services, cybersecurity, and AI-powered infrastructure management.
Jim also founded Netverge, whose platform powers California Telecom's network monitoring and service delivery operations. His emphasis on building proprietary technology rather than white-labeling generic tools is a core part of what sets California Telecom apart.
Hamed Zolghadri
SVP of Engineering
PhD, triple-CCIE (Service Provider, Enterprise Infrastructure, Datacenter). Hamed leads California Telecom's network engineering practice and is responsible for the architecture and design of customer network environments across all platforms.
Holding three active CCIE certifications places Hamed among a very small group of engineers worldwide. His depth across service provider, enterprise, and datacenter networking enables California Telecom to take on complex multi-site deployments that most providers our size cannot.
